Qualifications

• 7+ years of metrology experience with CALYPSO or Polyworks programming
• Hands-on experience with CMMs, Laser Trackers, scanners or arms
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and GD&T
• Experience creating and approving first article inspections
• Ability to identify inspection errors and initiating corrective action
• Experience with MES systems and creating inspection plans electronically
• Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Ability to work well in a team

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMMs using CALYPSO and GearPro to create measurement routines
• Interpret engineering drawings and translate them into CMM programs and inspection plans
• Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure tolerances and specs
• CMM data validation with hard gauging
• Record and maintain inspection data and reports for SPC
• Regularly inspect and maintain CMMs for accuracy
• Ensure CMM calibration is maintained
• Troubleshoot and resolve CMM-related issues
• Ensure traceability of measurements and compliance with quality management systems
