Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - CMDM in Redondo Beach, CA. The role centers on coordinating CMDM activities across systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and data control to support program material and documentation management.

The candidate will work with agile processes, Change Control Boards, and collaboration across engineering teams. A Top Secret clearance and STEM degrees are required or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 5+ years of relevant military/professional experience, OR MS with 3+ years, OR PhD with 1 year of relevant experience
• Active US Government Top Secret clearance (with background check within last 6 years or Continuous Evaluation)
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance within a reasonable time

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate release and maintenance of Modeling and Simulation engineering Models, Software, Documentation, and Schedules to meet program requirements.
• Review SoW to determine CMDM requirements for each Program Phase, applying engineering and agile processes.
• Execute Change Control Processes from Change Management Plan including Change Control Boards.
• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, and data control activities. Support CMDM requirements.
