Job summary

Astellas in Northbrook, IL seeks a seasoned CMC Asset Leader to drive end-to-end development, manufacturing, and lifecycle strategies for strategic assets. You will guide the asset’s VALUE through cross-functional teams and executive governance.

You will align regulatory, quality, supply chain, and commercial functions, translating complex technical needs into executable plans that maximize patient impact and portfolio VALUE.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in sciences, engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.
• Significant experience leading global drug development programs or strategic assets.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and governance bodies.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the integrated CMC asset strategy across development and launch.
• Convert strategy into integrated, milestone-driven plans with budgets and risks.
• Lead cross-functional VALUE teams spanning manufacturing, regulatory, quality, and supply chain.
• Advise on asset lifecycle, investments, and external partnerships.
