Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or acceptable.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or at least 1 year of verifiable Medical Assistant experience.
• 1–3 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures.
• Document patient histories, vitals, and clinical data.
• Administer routine treatments and medications per provider direction.
• Enter orders into the electronic medical record and maintain timely documentation.
• Coordinate scheduling for specialty testing and consultations.
• Support front office functions as needed (scheduling, patient flow, discharge).
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
