Job summary

Domo in Utah seeks a Senior CloudOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for its data-driven AI platform. You will partner with engineering, product, and operations to streamline deployments and improve reliability.

You will automate provisioning with Terraform, manage CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud costs while ensuring security and compliance. Strong scripting (Python/Bash) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) experience required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in CloudOps, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• 3+ years in a SaaS environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Strong experience with automation/configuration tools (Ansible, SaltStack).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Linux system administration and Git familiarity; monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cloud cost optimization.

POSITION SUMMARY

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure engineering roles
• 3+ years working in a SaaS environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Certifications preferred
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and SaltStack
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with modern AI tools including MCP management
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) and processes
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Proficiency with Linux system administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog)
• Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cost optimization on cloud platforms
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
