Job summary

Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global technical support team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr's products and infrastructure, acting as an escalation point for complex issues and assisting both customers and internal teams in diagnosing and resolving platform problems.

The role emphasizes mentoring, incident analysis, and collaboration across engineering and operations to improve support processes and prevent outages.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise technical support or similar advanced role.
• Experience with Linux systems and advanced CLI usage.
• Experience with enterprise networking concepts for platform issues.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers in an infrastructure-as-a-service or cloud context.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
• Ability to work independently with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of enterprise GPU service delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex platform issues with customers and internal teams.
• Lead incident analysis, root cause investigations, and preventive actions.
• Provide advanced technical guidance on Vultr products and services.
• Coordinate across system admins, networking, and engineering to resolve outages.
• Draft and maintain internal KBs and support procedures.
• Mentor junior team members and support enterprise environments.
• Participate in a 24/7 team operations and shift coverage.
