Job summary

Softthink Solutions Inc. seeks a Cloud / Systems Engineer to support a federal government customer. The role covers cloud, server, and enterprise app administration with focus on GCP, AWS, and Azure, plus Windows/Linux system tasks.

You will collaborate with application, network, and cybersecurity teams, maintain docs, and ensure uptime and secure operations in a remote Washington, DC context.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of cloud, systems administration, or infrastructure support experience.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Experience with Google Workspace administration is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux systems.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, monitoring, security, backup, and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support GCP, AWS, and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Manage cloud servers, VMs, storage, networking, users, and permissions.
• Monitor availability, performance, security, backups, and health of infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot cloud, server, network, authentication, and app issues.
• Support Windows and Linux systems, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Assist with security configurations and vulnerability remediation.
• Support deployments, migrations, backups, and recovery activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
