Job summary

Amentum in Springfield, VA is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support mission-critical cyber, security and intelligence projects. The role involves cloud system management, troubleshooting, and preserving a robust backlog and roadmap for GEODS programs.

The position requires TS/SCI with polygraph, a 5+ year degree/experience combination, and on-site work daily. Candidates should be versed in cloud platforms and enterprise Windows/Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Linux/Windows servers and cloud resources.
• Strong IAM and AD administration skills with scripting basics.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident response in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud systems.
• Isolate and resolve problems across applications, OS, hardware and network components.
• Prepare problem reports to leads and communicate status to management.
• Deploy OS and apps to cloud compute resources and monitor system health.
• Integrate new technologies and manage migration of corporate systems.
