Job summary

CGS is seeking a Cloud and Storage Engineer to design and implement scalable SAN architectures for a large EMC-based SAN infrastructure supporting a federal agency. The role emphasizes performance, replication, backup, disaster recovery, security, and documentation across multi-site environments.

You will develop standards, implement processes, provide capacity planning, and ensure 24/7/365 uptime while collaborating with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Eight years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Direct experience with Dell EMC storage products (OneFS, Unity/Isilon, VNS, RecoverPoint) and recovery tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements full-scale SAN architecture for EMC-based SAN infrastructure.
• Plays a role in performance, replication, disaster recovery, and backup storage planning.
• Defines strategic direction for SAN and backup environments.
• Designs enterprise storage solutions and implements them in complex environments.
• Produces storage capacity planning, utilization reporting, and roadmaps.
• Ensures 24/7/365 uptime as part of a team.
• Maintains technical docs and security-related tasks as required.
