Job summary

Contact Government Services, LLC is seeking a Cloud and Storage Engineer to design and implement a comprehensive SAN architecture for a large EMC-based storage environment supporting a federal agency.

The role requires substantial Dell EMC product experience, enterprise storage design skills, and the ability to produce standards, documentation, and cost models while ensuring 24/7/365 uptime in a multi-site setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Dell EMC SAN products and backups.
• Experience designing enterprise SAN architectures for large, multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements SAN architecture for EMC-based infrastructure.
• Addresses performance, capacity, replication, DR, backup storage and security.
• Defines strategic direction for SAN and backup environments.
• Designs enterprise storage requirements and deploys solutions.
• Performs capacity planning, utilization reporting, and documentation.
