Job summary

Lunar Outpost in Golden, CO seeks a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to own Stargate production releases, design scalable Kubernetes infra, and drive operational excellence in a mission-critical environment.

You will implement GitOps with Flux CD, manage Helm charts, and ensure 99.99%+ uptime while collaborating on reliability standards with engineering teams. Onsite role supporting Pegasus LTV program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production DevOps/SRE
• Kubernetes admin with production access
• Helm charts for multi-component apps
• Canary/blue-green deployments experience
• Knowledge of Kubernetes infrastructure management
• GitOps workflows in production
• Reliability-focused decision-making

Responsibilities

• Own Stargate production releases and deployment pipelines
• Drive metrics, log aggregation, uptime monitoring and KPI tracking
• Maintain 99.99% to 99.999% uptime SLAs
• Design and maintain Helm charts for Stargate and related infra
• Implement progressive delivery strategies (canary, blue-green)
• Manage Kubernetes infra including volumes, DNS, LB, secrets
• Manage AWS services in Kubernetes deployments
• Maintain observability with OpenTelemetry
• Collaborate to enforce reliability standards
