Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer Senior Staff to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment systems. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and performance across platforms, with a hybrid work model requiring about two days on-site per week.

You will optimize CI/CD, manage IaC, automate tooling, and collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to meet application needs while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on experience in Infra Ops, DevOps, or SRE.
• Proficiency with Linux systems, Debian-based.
• Cloud experience on AWS and GCP.
• Experience with security programs and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Enhance Infrastructure as Code and enforce best practices.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost.
• Develop internal tools to support cloud platform operations.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and workflows using FluxCD and Jenkins.
• Address container image vulnerabilities and remediation.
• Build AMIs aligned with CIS/STIG benchmarks.
• Strengthen monitoring, alerting, observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Troubleshoot production issues to ensure reliability.
• Fine-tune distributed systems like Apache Kafka and Cassandra.
• Collaborate across teams to align infra with app needs.
