NS2 Mission in the Northern Virginia area is seeking an Expert Cloud Solutions Architect to design, develop, and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures that support mission-critical applications. You will collaborate with engineering and leadership to modernize deployments and automate processes across secure commercial cloud environments.

Applicants should have deep expertise in cloud architecture, scripting, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience designing and implementing cloud architectures.
• 5+ years building compute architectures in secure cloud environments.
• 5+ years developing and deploying applications in secure cloud environments.
• 3+ years scripting in Python, Ruby, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures for mission applications.
• Architect and deploy applications within secure commercial cloud environments.
• Collaborate with software and data engineers and leadership to build cloud-native solutions.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline deployments and operations.
• Leverage enterprise cloud services to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Utilize GitHub, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence to support dev practices.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and propose architecture improvements.
• Assist with technical planning, modernization, and cloud migration initiatives.
