Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a highly motivated Solutions Architect to accelerate our public sector business. You will own technical engagements, craft architectures, respond to RFPs, and drive customer success across AWS services including AI/ML and Bedrock.

You’ll collaborate with a sales team and ecosystem partners to deliver scalable cloud solutions. In this role you’ll share best practices, mentor others, and advance AWS knowledge across customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Responsibilities

• own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects; proactively identifying and driving resolution of technical escalations before they become blockers
• defining implementation architectures; responding to RFPs; developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies, particularly AI/ML and GenAI
• being a subject matter expert on security as it related to customer applications and services
• lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community
• grow across three key dimensions: Customer Advisory, Thought Leadership, and Advancing the Organization
