Job summary

Connection seeks a Principal Cloud Solution Architect to guide enterprise cloud modernization across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform from our Merrimack, NH location. You will work with executives, sales, and technical teams to define technology strategies and drive customer success in complex cloud transformations.

You will mentor architects, lead discovery sessions, and shape Connection's cloud practice while ensuring secure, scalable, and future-ready solutions that deliver measurable

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, enterprise infrastructure, application modernization, or related technical consulting roles.
• Current cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
• Proven success leading complex cloud transformation and migration projects.
• Extensive experience in customer-facing, consultative technology roles.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise clients to understand their business objectives, application portfolios, and technology strategies.
• Design and architect cloud solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, GCP, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native technologies.
• Lead strategic discovery sessions and solution workshops with executive and technical stakeholders.
• Develop cloud modernization roadmaps that align technology investments with business outcomes.
• Guide clients through large-scale cloud migrations, application modernization, DevOps adoption, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and optimized for long-term success.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior IT leaders and decision-makers.
• Support pre-sales engagements, solution positioning, and RFP responses.
• Mentor architects and contribute to the continued growth of Connection's Cloud Center of Excellence.
• Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies, market trends, and industry best practices.
