Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join their team in Annapolis Junction, MD / Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cloud-based software applications while working alongside top engineers dedicated to national security.

The ideal candidate will hold a TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with significant software engineering experience. Benefits include generous PTO, medical benefits, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with current Polygraph required.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Experience in developing distributed, multi-threaded applications.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain cloud-based software applications.
• Participate in Agile software development activities including code reviews, testing, and sprint planning.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and sustain production applications.
