GliaCell Technologies seeks a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government contract from Annapolis Junction, MD.

The role focuses on sustaining critical mission software and systems with agile practices and a strong emphasis on data analytics and cloud technologies. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software engineering, cloud certifications, and hands-on experience with Java/Python, NiFi, and data schemas.

Qualifications

• Eight years of software development/engineering experience including requirements analysis and maintenance.
• Cloud Developer certification is required and will be verified during interview/offer.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Python with experience in NiFi is highly desired.
• Experience with XML, CSV, and JSON data formats and data ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven solutions and cloud-based software for government projects.
• Extract meaning from structured and unstructured data using analytics and ML techniques.
• Collaborate with customer teams to understand mission needs and data requirements.
• Design data ingestion architectures and data enrichment workflows.
• Leverage tools like DataXplorer and GMAE to present datasets insightfully.
