Job summary
Belay Technologies seeks a Cloud Software Engineer to join our intel team in Maryland. The role develops, maintains, and enhances complex Big-Data Cloud systems, with emphasis on back-end processing, analysis, and indexing.
You will contribute to system design, software testing, and documentation. The ideal candidate has TS/SCI with poly, a Bachelor's degree (Masters can substitute for years), and 8+ years in software engineering, including Java/C/C++/JavaScript and OO design, with experience on
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree may substitute for experience.
- Eight years of software engineering experience with requirements analysis, development, testing, and maintenance.
- Proficiency with Java, C, C++, JavaScript and OO design.
- Experience developing for Windows and UNIX/Linux/CentOS environments.
- Experience integrating or extending FOSS/COTS products.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex Big-Data Cloud systems based on documented requirements.
- Contribute to back-end processing, analysis, and indexing; perform code reviews and testing.
- Provide input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs and use of COTS/GOTS.
- Support junior programmers/analysts and document software design and test results.
