Replit is seeking an engineer to power the development of Replit Agent within the Cloud organization. You will help build first-party cloud infrastructure enabling users to build, scale, and succeed entirely on Replit.

You’ll collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate rapidly, own core features end-to-end, and contribute to scalable architectures using TypeScript, React, Go, and Terraform. You should have a strong automation mindset, experience in high-growth startups, and a

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent real-world experience in engineering roles.
• Comfortable building with our tech stack: TypeScript, React, Go.
• Previous experience at a high-growth startup.
• Focus on automation: building self-healing systems and automating repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication skills: explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Problem-solving mindset for operational challenges.
• Continuous learning and staying current with industry best practices and new technologies.
• Experience with AI/agentic systems.
• Experience building user facing platform as a service products.
• Self-directed and autonomous with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Help power the development of Replit Agent as an engineer in the Replit Cloud organization.
• Build and maintain Replit Cloud infrastructure to support scaling and reliability.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on Replit Cloud features.
• Drive full-stack feature development from conception to deployment, owning key initiatives.
• Contribute to architectural decisions shaping the product's future.
• Ship product and build infrastructure using TS, React, CSS, Postgres, Go, and Terraform.
• Leverage cloud infrastructure to create differentiated experiences for users.
