Job summary

Google is hiring a software engineer to contribute to the Access Transparency (AXT) team within Google Cloud Platform. You will work on an AI automation platform, implementing features and ensuring compliance and auditable access controls for user data, including logs of privileged access.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience building and managing distributed software systems and infrastructure.
Experience with cloud computing, backend and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Implement and test features within the AI automation platform and the autonomous generation and validation of AXT annotations and configuration for service teams.
Design, implement, and test scalable systems handling large data to ensure security and compliance across GCP services.
Write high-quality code in Go, C++, Java, or similar languages; maintain and review code.
Collaborate with teams to leverage expertise and guidance from experienced engineers.
Support product goals and reliability for Google Cloud Platform services.
