Job summary

Google is seeking software engineers for Google Cloud's CCSE to design and scale secure platforms that automate security checks in developer pipelines and production. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 5 years of experience programming in Python or C++.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year in design/architecture.
• 2 years in security engineering focusing on infrastructure security, SDLC, threat modeling, or automated vulnerability discovery.
• 1 year of experience with AI/ML infrastructure (model deployment, evaluation, processing).
• Experience designing AI-assisted tools or automation workflows to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale robust, secure platforms automating security checks in CI/CD and production.
• Design, optimize, and evaluate AI-driven security capabilities across CCSE; include coding.
• Set engineering and security standards for large-scale distributed systems with end-to-end security.
• Analyze complex security data to drive roadmap decisions and prioritization.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and mentor engineers.
