Job summary

Target is seeking a senior Cloud Security Platform leader to own the CSPM/CNAPP stack across public and private clouds. You will drive end-to-end deployment, tuning, and operation, ensure clear SLAs, and collaborate with cloud security software developers on the findings pipeline and dashboards.

You will own policy sets, participate in build-vs-buy decisions, and mentor engineers while reducing toil and improving developer experience across Target Tech.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree OR equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on technology experience in cloud security.
• Experience as a senior IC or tech lead owning a platform capability end-to-end at enterprise scale.
• Experience deploying CSPM/CNAPP platforms in large multi-cloud environments.
• Strong opinions on CSPM signal-to-noise, policy tuning, ownership attribution, and SLAs.
• Experience running production platforms with clear SLOs and on-call.
• Roadmaps and multi-quarter delivery from problem framing to steady-state operation.
• Secure software development practices and cloud/network security fundamentals.
• Automation-first mindset with fluency in Python or Go.
• Strong cross-functional partnering with security and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cloud Security Platform across CSPM and CNAPP, setting direction and roadmaps.
• Own end-to-end deployment, tuning, and ongoing operation across multi-cloud environments.
• Own CSPM policy sets, including on/off rules and tuning rationale.
• Collaborate with engineers on the findings pipeline and remediation dashboards with SLAs.
• Drive reduction of noise so only high-value findings reach engineers.
• Partner with other security domains to align requirements and ownership.
• Represent work to senior leadership and staff engineers with clear tradeoffs.
