Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Security to drive enterprise-scale remediation across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will coordinate with engineering, privacy, and compliance to strengthen controls and reduce risk, while leading security workflows and automation.

You will oversee remediation lifecycles, prioritize work by risk, and develop reusable templates to enable secure deployments across global teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Six or more years of cybersecurity experience, incl. four+ years in cloud security.
Two+ years leading teams or serving as a technical lead in cloud security.
Experience across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Experience remediating enterprise-scale cloud security deficiencies.
Strong knowledge of cloud networking security including private endpoints and hub-and-spoke.
Knowledge of cloud identity, least privilege, and privileged access management.
Experience with cloud security automation, policy enforcement, and monitoring solutions.
Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting language.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present metrics to leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise cloud security remediation initiatives across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Reduce public cloud exposure through private endpoints, private links, and secure architectures.
Develop policy-as-code frameworks, reusable security templates, and automation for deployments.
Oversee the cloud security remediation lifecycle with monitoring and risk-based prioritization.
Collaborate with engineering, identity, privacy, and compliance to integrate security controls.
