Job summary

Vega Federal Solutions in Richardson, Texas is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure supporting a national security mission. This direct-hire, full-time role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and a STEM degree.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
• Bachelor's degree in STEM
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Good collaboration and teamwork skills
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Ability to work in a multi-discipline environment

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
• Build, operate, and secure containerized environments on EKS, EKS Auto Mode, and Kubernetes
• Configure and integrate resources across cloud and on-premises deployments
• Harden Linux systems and automate configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and scripting
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security practices
• Integrate COTS and FOSS technologies into secure environments
• Collaborate with a multi-discipline team of engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders
• Document designs and communicate status clearly, in writing and verbally
