Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Software Engineer III for Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management to design and build scalable backend systems and policy evaluation components. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience developing and maintaining software using C++.
Experience designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems.
Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems.
Experience with database query languages (e.g., SQL) and data modeling techniques.

Responsibilities

Work on large-scale architectural and reliability initiatives under authorization in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Design, code reliably, and launch features.
Participate in activities beyond coding: metrics, documentation, and operations.
Drive projects and partnerships with cross-teams independently.
Reduce technical, design or implementation ambiguity working with team leaders.
Design and build a new policy evaluation platform and extend existing Ring-0 services.
