Job summary

Google in Sunnyvale, CA is hiring a Software Engineer to design, implement, and scale backend services in C++. You will work on large-scale distributed systems and policy evaluation components with high visibility.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience developing and maintaining software using C++.

• Experience with database query languages (e.g., SQL) and data modeling techniques.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience designing or implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems on cloud platforms.
• Experience architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed enterprise systems in the cloud.
• Experience working on highly available, high load, and low latency distributed services.
• Experience using AI tools for software development (e.g., for code generation, code completion, or debugging).
