Job summary

Fusion Technology is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead secure cloud platform design, development, and operations in a high-assurance environment. The role emphasizes advanced threat detection, incident response, and cyber resiliency aligned with federal standards.

You will guide platform teams on secure coding, coordinate vulnerability management, and collaborate with government partners to protect mission-critical systems and data. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 3+ years in a cloud security role.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security across cloud environments; security architecture, network defense, data protection, and threat modeling.
• Experience in incident response, log correlation, and risk assessments; capable of briefing executives and leading cross-functional security efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and operations of secure cloud platforms and systems.
• Develop and enforce enterprise cloud security policies, incident response plans, and cyber resiliency strategies.
• Design, implement, and improve secure cloud-based architectures and monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate security-related projects across teams.
