Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design and implement scalable security controls across our cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on governance, risk, compliance, and automation to protect data and enable rapid product development.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to build resilient, least-privilege AWS architectures and drive zero-trust initiatives while addressing remote access in a remote‑first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud security, networking, information security, or related fields.
• Familiarity with standard security frameworks and privacy regulations (NIST CSF, FFIEC, SOX, SOC2, GLBA, ISO27018, PCI-DSS).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with information as code (IaC) tooling.
• AWS certifications encouraged.

• Collaborate with infra and engineering to improve reliability and security of cloud infrastructure.
• Automate cloud security controls to minimize threats and risk.
