Job summary

MMD Services is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to shape and maintain the security vision across our cloud environments and applications. This role supports cloud architecture decisions and security policy development, emphasizing collaboration and practical, secure design.

The position requires at least 3 years in cloud security engineering, experience with major cloud platforms, and hands-on work with security tools.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a cloud security engineering role.
• Experience architecting solutions on one or more major cloud platforms.
• Experience deploying and customizing security tools such as vulnerability scanners and firewalls.
• Experience with log management or security event correlation systems.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and cloud/network security.
• Familiarity with modern cloud technology components and deployment patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and manage cloud security tools and services.
• Design scalable processes for provisioning cloud access.
• Identify, investigate, and guide resolution of security issues across the cloud infrastructure.
• Review cloud architecture with a security lens and provide actionable requirements.
• Collaborate with security leadership, engineering, and compliance teams to develop and execute security strategy.
• Serve as SME on security tools, platforms, and processes.
• Develop cloud security criteria, procedures, and policies.
• Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with other teams to resolve security issues aligned with business needs.
