Job summary

Merci Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.

You will manage IAM, conduct risk assessments, and support compliance initiatives while partnering with DevOps and architecture teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in cloud security, strong scripting skills, and hands-on experience across multi-cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on cloud security experience.
• Experience securing Azure, AWS, or multi-cloud environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise security and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Configure and manage IAM solutions.
• Conduct cloud security assessments and risk analyses.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to embed security into cloud deployments.
• Support compliance initiatives, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation activities.
• Implement Zero Trust security principles and best practices.
• Recommend and deploy cloud security tools to improve visibility and protection.
