Job summary

Morgan Stanley seeks a Lead Cloud Security Engineer at Director level to design, implement, and govern a multi-cloud security program across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will build secure cloud foundations, automation, and governance that enable rapid, compliant cloud adoption.

In this role, you’ll partner with Security, Networking, SRE, Platform Engineering, and App teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions, drive modernization, and ensure regulatory alignment across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation technologies including Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting highly regulated environments and working with audit, compliance, and security control frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage foundational cloud services across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including landing zones and security controls.
• Develop scalable, secure cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
• Build and automate cloud infrastructure using IaC technologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with Security, Networking, SRE, Platform Engineering, App Development, and Operations teams to deliver secure-by-design cloud solutions.
• Establish and maintain cloud governance, monitoring, and compliance across providers.
• Drive cloud modernization and integration initiatives for acquisitions and legacy environments.
