Job summary

Truist is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Security Engineer to lead deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of cloud security tooling across a multi-cloud enterprise environment.

The role includes hands-on work with AWS, Azure, and GCP tooling, Terraform automation, and integration into CI/CD pipelines. Strong scripting skills and certifications are preferred, with a base salary in the advertised range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Advanced knowledge in cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts.
• Proven experience in software development lifecycle security practices.
• Advanced knowledge of threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
• Experience implementing and managing complex information security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and own Wiz Platform deployments and related security tooling.
• Integrate CSPM, CWPP, and CI/CD security with remediation.
• Build and audit services like AWS IAM, KMS, Azure Entra ID, Key Vault, and Security Center.
• Hardening VPCs, WAFs, and micro-segmentation.
• Integrate security guardrails into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor cloud trails with CloudWatch or Sentinel.
• Scripting in Python or PowerShell; Terraform or ARM templates.
• Understand CSA, NIST, CIS, Zero Trust.
• Lead implementation of new cloud security technologies or integration of existing technologies.
• Provide timely expert problem analysis and resolution.
• Lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements.
• Leadership, Strategy & Governance.
