Job summary

TENEX.AI is seeking a Lead Cloud Security Engineer to serve as the cloud subject‑matter expert, building automated health checks across AWS, GCP, and Azure, and turning findings into actionable remediation guidance for customers.

You will work with our SOC to strengthen detection coverage, runbooks, and response procedures, while advising customers on cloud posture improvements and CNAPP tooling implementations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cloud security with hands-on AWS, GCP and Azure experience.
• Strong understanding of CNAPP/CSPM tooling for posture assessment and cloud misconfigurations.
• Experience supporting or running cloud incident investigations.
• Ability to automate checks and workflows via scripting and APIs, and clearly communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate cloud security health checks across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Translate health checks into prioritized remediation guidance for customers.
• Support SOC with cloud incident investigations and update runbooks and playbooks.
• Serve as escalation point for cloud-specific detections and investigations across cloud environments.
• Define cloud detection use-cases and translate them into requirements for Detection Engineering.
