Job summary

TENEX.AI is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize security controls across our IT infrastructure and customer environments. You will help build robust security capabilities from the ground up and strengthen threat protection through automation and strong engineering practices.

The role emphasizes security design, incident response collaboration, and DevOps security integration, with hands-on experience in EDR, SIEM, MFA, ZTNA, and cloud security across major providers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT with at least 2 years in cybersecurity operations or engineering.
• Hands-on with ZTNA, MDM, EDR solutions and network security concepts.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, SIEMs, and scanners.
• Solid cloud security understanding across GCP, AWS, Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security tools including firewalls, EDR, MFA, ZTNA, and SIEM.
• Perform gap assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement remediation.
• Assist with customer security requirements and success initiatives.
• Collaborate with SOC to improve threat detection and incident response.
• Lead system hardening for OS, apps, and network devices.
• Drive security in DevOps with security-as-code and automation workflows.
