Job summary

Vouch, Inc seeks a Staff Infrastructure & Security Engineer to own cloud platform reliability, security architecture, and incident response. You will lead infra, security tooling, and automation efforts across production systems while shaping security practices with a bias toward simplicity.

The role requires strong AWS experience, IaC proficiency (Terraform), and proven SOC 2/ security audit leadership. Hybrid work in Chicago with in-office collaboration at least three days a week.

Qualifications

• Formal background in information security or cybersecurity with SOC 2 experience.
• Led at least one enterprise security breach or data-leak incident response.
• Hands-on technical lead directing architecture, standards, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the cloud platform end-to-end, including CI/CD and delivery automation.
• Manage infra and security incident response with rotation-based coverage.
• Consolidate SaaS and external dependencies to reduce attack surface.
• Unify identity sources into a single trusted truth for humans and machines.
