Job summary

DTCC is seeking a Principal Cloud Security Engineer to join the CISO team. You will lead a cloud security engineering function that protects workloads, apps, and data across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will mentor a motivated team, align security initiatives with business needs, and partner with stakeholders to introduce new security technologies into production.

The role offers a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and opportunities to influence enterprise security at a global scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in cloud security or a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading security teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Align cloud security strategy with business objectives and regulatory requirements for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Identify deficiencies in cloud security and implement improvement plans.
• Develop automation and AI/ML capabilities across the tech stack.
• Establish cloud security baselines and monitoring for compliance.
• Document security policies and runbooks for production readiness.
• Mentor junior cybersecurity engineers focused on cloud workloads, containers, apps, and data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to introduce new security technologies to production.
