Wellabe, Inc. is seeking an Information Security Engineer 3 to join our team in a hybrid Des Moines setting. You will provide senior-level security engineering expertise across architecture, cloud security, vulnerability management, incident response, and data protection.

You will coach teams and drive risk reduction while enabling business objectives. You will partner with IAM, security operations, and leadership to design, implement, and monitor security controls for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of security architecture and engineering principles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts and vulnerability management.
• Experience with IAM, MFA, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust concepts.
• Proven ability to lead security initiatives and incidents.
• Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and data protection controls.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and improve information security controls and baselines.
• Lead design and assessment of security controls for cloud resources and SaaS platforms.
• Partner with IAM, security operations, and engineering teams to reduce risk.
• Provide guidance for incident response, investigations, and containment.
• Develop and maintain security playbooks, detection logic, and monitoring coverage.
