Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead cloud security maturation across our infrastructure at scale. You will design strategy, implement best practices, and accelerate TRM’s mission of building a safer financial system.

You will mentor teams, drive IAM governance in GCP, and partner with engineering to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines while advocating for secure, rapid product delivery.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry experience in managing cloud security programs, IAM, and cloud-native security solutions.
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud infrastructure components, preferably with GCP.
• Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to audit and provide audit support for security controls within the cloud environment.
• Experience with infrastructure vulnerability testing tools, Cloud Application Platforms (Heroku), and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership as a cybersecurity expert on architecture, configuration management, and environment design.
• Leverage automation, configuration management, and IaC to standardize security across environments.
• Guide engineering, product, and leadership to align with security strategies.
• Identify and communicate cloud vulnerabilities and mitigations balancing agility with security.
• Engage with auditors and internal teams to meet cloud security expectations.
• Drive security improvements in GCP and manage IAM to enforce least privilege.
• Participate in cloud audits with external and internal stakeholders.
