Job summary

Chubb is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Security Engineer to detect, respond to, and harden multi-cloud environments (Azure primary, AWS, GCP, and Microsoft 365). Build detections, lead incident response, and implement automation to reduce attack surfaces.

Ideal candidate brings strong IR background, cloud security experience, and comfort with AI-assisted tooling as part of daily engineering work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT security experience with 3+ years in cloud security (Azure and/or AWS).
• Strong incident response background and ability to lead end-to-end IR engagements.
• Experience writing or tuning detection logic (KQL, Sigma) in a SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel preferred).
• Proficient with security tooling: SIEM, EDR, cloud-native logging/posture tools.
• Comfort with AI coding/analysis tools (Claude Code or similar) and automation workflows.
• Scripting ability (PowerShell and/or Python) for automation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong time management.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Detect, respond to, and remediate cyber threats across Azure, AWS, GCP, and Microsoft 365.
• Build and tune detection content to close coverage gaps as cloud services evolve.
• Lead and support incident response engagements end-to-end.
• Harden cloud and SaaS environments with IAM, infra, and app teams.
• Create workflows and automation to speed triage and response.
• Investigate anomalous activity using SIEM/EDR and cloud logs; tune to reduce false positives.
• Prepare operational and after-action reports for leadership.
• Stay current on cloud attack techniques and translate into detections.
