Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Infrastructure Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and security platforms across AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.

You will work within the Database Protection Team to enhance security capabilities and protect enterprise data. The role requires a minimum of five years in cloud infrastructure or security, hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, and ability to lead complex problem resolutions with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in cloud infrastructure, security, or related fields.
• Strong experience with AWS and Azure.
• Experience administering Kubernetes clusters and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and enhance database protection and activity monitoring.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters used by security and data-protection services.
• Troubleshoot cloud, networking, and application issues.
• Onboard databases and applications into protection platforms.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and data teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Improve platform reliability, monitoring, and performance.
• Support IaC, cloud automation, and deployment pipelines.
• Lead complex problem resolution as a senior L3 resource.
