Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Engineer, Cloud Security to drive continuous improvement of our cloud security posture. You will design, deploy and oversee security solutions, guiding implementation and integration across Navitus' cloud environments.

This role requires enterprise perspective and strong change management skills. You will work with AWS/Azure, develop DevSec practices, and help minimize cyber threats while supporting governance, risk and compliance activities for Navitus

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare or other technology/security discipline.
• 7–10 years of information security experience in designing, deploying, monitoring and evaluating cybersecurity.
• Experience in incident response, cloud architectures and SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of securing code and best practices; programming or scripting proficiency.
• Certifications or comparable experience preferred (Azure Fundamentals/AZ-900, CISSP, CISM).
• Experience with security tools like AWS WAF, CDK and threat modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and oversee group-wide security solutions and governance, risk and compliance.
• Develop DevSec practices to integrate security into the software lifecycle.
• Analyze policies, patch vulnerabilities and lead security programs.
• Monitor security posture, detect, remediate and enforce standards in AWS/Azure.
• Conduct cloud API/security assessments and maintain deployment documentation.
• Triage issues using ticketing systems and coordinate with technology partners.
