Job summary

Cision is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen cloud security architecture, integrate security into CI/CD, and drive data protection across our organization. You will collaborate with R&D teams to implement secure solutions for internal and third-party systems, while aligning with compliance and industry standards.

The role requires deep hands-on security experience, cryptography expertise, and a proactive approach to risk assessment and incident response.

Qualifications

5+ years of security engineering and GRC-focused solutions development.
Deep understanding of security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain security architectures across cloud, third‑party, and on‑prem environments.
Evaluate and integrate emerging security technologies to strengthen the organisation’s security posture.
Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and conduct secure code reviews with development teams.
Implement encryption for data at rest and in transit, manage cryptographic keys, and ensure compliance with standards.
Define secure coding standards and guide development teams on application security and vulnerability remediation.
Coordinate security risk assessments, threat modeling, and incident response with SOC teams.
