Dotdash Meredith is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with proven expertise in innovative security solutions, technical proficiency, and execution skills. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing the security posture across our multi-cloud production environment, designing and deploying cloud security solutions, and automating processes to reduce manual effort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee cloud security initiatives and activities.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in public cloud environments.
• Design security architectures and determine security requirements and controls.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Implement and manage security solutions such as Zero Trust, IAM, and Data Protection.
• Evaluate new security tools and automate security deployment using IaaC tools.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and threat analysis.
• Develop security automation and orchestration scripts and tools.
• Support incident response efforts.

Architecture & Design:

• Provide leadership in security architecture planning and implementation.
• Define security strategies and oversee cloud and IAM architecture design.
• Perform threat modeling and reporting.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external compliance standards.
• Evaluate new technologies and conduct system hardening and audits.
• Guide compliance strategies and monitor corrective actions.

About You:

• Minimum 5 years in security, with 3+ years focused on cloud security.
• Experience deploying security tools and scripting in languages like Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills:

• Passion for cloud security and continuous learning.
• Strong communication skills to articulate security risks.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
