Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Security Consultant for AWS ProServe to lead customer engagements in cloud security, design secure AWS architectures, and guide teams across complex projects. You will mentor junior consultants, drive security strategy, and optimize cloud security operations while delivering outcomes for diverse customers globally.

You will work with security leaders to tailor solutions, automate protections, and ensure risk is minimized.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• 5+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience.
• 3+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience.
• 5+ years of integration, testing and automation experience.
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
• Hands-on technical expertise in building security capabilities in code, deploying infrastructure as code, and implementing enterprise security solutions (e.g. WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM).
• Degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical leader for customer engagements and/or the security workstreams of engagements, leading teams of consultants.
• Lead internal initiatives to deliver quantifiable impact.
• Develop strategic relationships with internal and external leaders.
• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Enable and engage delivery partners in project delivery.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to develop others.
