Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior II Security Compliance Specialist to lead compliance efforts for cloud infrastructure and delivery services.

You will guide engineering teams, drive audit readiness, and implement scalable controls across global platforms. You will translate regulatory standards into actionable guidance for architecture, evaluate control designs, and coordinate cross-functional remediation.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting major compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or NIST.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, identity management, network security, and vulnerability management.
• Solid analytical, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Familiar with compliance automation tools, GRC platforms, and cloud service provider environments.
• Experience coordinating multi-organization audit evidence collection and leading external assessment engagements.
