Job summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, seeks a Technology Specialist to secure FAA cloud environments across multi-cloud and hybrid setups. You will design secure architectures, implement IAM and Zero Trust controls, and coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure compliant, highly available IT systems.

You will mentor engineers, engage with FAA leadership, and drive security documentation, continuous monitoring, and risk mitigation across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive systems engineering with focus on cloud security architecture
• Familiar with NIST RMF, FedRAMP, DHS CDM, and FAA security requirements
• Experience with multi-cloud/hybrid environments and secure architectures

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Security Architect for FAA systems across multi-cloud/hybrid environments
• Define cloud security reference architectures, patterns, and standards
• Develop POA&Ms to remediate security findings
• Support IRAT testing and security documentation such as SSPs/SARs
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams
• Mentor engineers and interface with FAA leadership
• Provide IAM, Zero Trust, data encryption, and container security expertise
• Lead security reviews and risk analyses
