Job summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, seeks a System Engineer to design, develop, integrate, deploy, and sustain software for a modern FAA cloud platform. You will join a cloud engineering and DevSecOps team delivering secure, scalable, and highly available capabilities for FAA missions and enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes secure SDLC practices, containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration across Agile teams to modernize legacy apps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in enterprise/cloud/federal environments.
• Experience developing and deploying applications in AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain software applications and cloud-native services.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.
• Implement automated unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.
