Job summary

First American is seeking a Cloud Security Generalist to join our Cloud Security team in Charlotte, NC. You will review alerts, triage CNAPP findings, and coordinate remediation with application and platform teams to strengthen our public cloud controls.

You’ll work with technical leads to evaluate new products, document processes, and mentor teammates while aligning with enterprise security standards and governance across hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
• CCSP or cloud security certifications preferred
• 4–5 years as a Cloud Security generalist in IAM, vulnerability management, encryption
• 3–5 years with AWS and GCP
• Experience configuring CNAPP tooling and policy sets
• Experience generating compliance reports for leadership
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Review alerts and evaluate false positives in CNAPP tooling
• Remediate public cloud vulnerabilities with application and platform teams
• Evaluate new security products and technologies
• Document processes and standardize operating procedures
• Mentor and train team members across the organization
• Advise management on cross-organizational technical matters
• Develop and deliver additional detective and preventive controls
