Job summary

Lilly seeks a Principal Security Architect to own security architecture for a major AWS-driven program, handling trade secrets and sensitive IP. You’ll drive architecture decisions, threat modeling, risk assessments, and reference designs across cloud platforms with governance to enterprise standards.

You will mentor engineers, partner with legal and privacy, and help ensure secure-by-design practices are embedded from design through deployment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional security, software engineering, or related experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience securing workloads involving trade secrets or sensitive IP.

Responsibilities

• Own the security architecture and risk posture for the assigned program.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
• Develop reference architectures and security guidance from recurring requirements.
• Collaborate with program leadership, engineering teams, privacy, legal, and audit.
