Job summary

Iridium is seeking an IT Security (Cloud) Analyst to join our IT Security department in Chandler, AZ. You will establish and support security standards for Iridium’s cloud services and secure cloud-based solutions for a commercial satellite organization.

You’ll analyze cloud security risk, triage CSPM findings, and ensure security is embedded in CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in IT security/cloud analyst or similar role.
• Experience with AWS security services and Azure.
• Experience configuring CSPM/CNAP tools (Orca, Wiz, Prisma Cloud).
• Strong troubleshooting across cloud, network, and apps.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud security risk and coordinate remediation timelines with owners and engineers.
• Triage and remediate CSPM findings based on severity and business impact.
• Monitor and respond to cloud-native security events across multi-account AWS environments.
• Partner with Cloud Engineering to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Use and maintain security runbooks, SOPs, and baseline standards.
• Configure and tune IAM policies, SCPs, guardrails, and automated checks.
• Maintain scripts and automation for repeatable security tasks.
